When I discovered Blogging I had no idea of its power. I used it as a means to rant , maybe even therapy for my opinionated self. As Iwent along however I realized that the benefits of blogging for a poet were nothing remotely surface.
Here is my list of reasons poets should blog
The most obvious is that you get increased exposure for yourself and your writing. It makes you a better writer. Since good blogging is all about rich content and constantly updating your blog then you can only improve as a writer. Blogging can allow you to build a community of like-minded people online or just increase your fan base. Your readers get to leave feed back through comments. So you get to make them a part of your writing . Of course there is always the fact that you can actually make an income from your blog. There are many ways to do this but you have to do your research to find what works for you.
